Housing Stabilization

Programs & Services

From first keys to stable home

The Newcomer Housing Help program assists newly arrived refugees to access and maintain housing in their new community. It provides housing information, assistance to access housing and income supports, and enables clients to access permanent housing.

To keep housing stable, the program also focuses on stabilizing clients with physical and mental health complications by linking them to appropriate health care providers. Housing is a key component for newcomers to succeed in their process of adapting and integrating into Canadian society.
