Emergency Family Shelter Program

Programs & Services

A private room for every family

As a result of the increasing demand for our emergency shelter program, Sojourn House opened a 24/7 Emergency Family Shelter Program in 2019. This shelter has 78 dwelling rooms designated for families.

Families receive the same wraparound supports as the main shelter — settlement counselling, housing help, food service and health navigation — in a space designed for parents and children beginning their lives in Canada.
